Among the states participating in this rigorous examination, Bihar has particularly distinguished itself. Over four lakh candidates from Bihar appeared for the CTET, and more than 50 thousand have been rewarded with success.

Eligibility Certificates Digitized

In a move towards digitalization and streamlining administrative processes, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), the governing body for the CTET, has announced that the eligibility certificates for the successful candidates will soon be available on Digi Locker. This digital platform will not only make the certificates easily accessible to the candidates but also ensures a secure and tamper-proof storage system.

Who's Eligible to Apply for School Teacher Roles?

To be eligible to apply for school teacher positions, candidates must meet the following criteria:

1. For the general category, the cutoff stands at 60 percent, equivalent to 90 marks.
2. For candidates from SC, ST, OBC, and PWD categories, the cutoff is 55 percent, which corresponds to 82.5 marks.
